Hubei Turquoise Specimen Ring sz 7

This double float ring is set with two spectacular turquoise stones from the Hubei Provence of China. These stones were begging to be set together with their outstanding color and pattern. The stones are set simply in a unique "floating" style,  in sterling with a matte finish. The ring band is wide and the back is marked with my hallmark. The top is approximately 24mm from top to bottom stone by 27mm wide. It best fits a size 7.
 
+About Hubei turquoise: This turquoise is mined in the Hubei Province of China. It is known for it's striking patterns and colors. Much high quality turquoise comes from this region. Turquoise has been mined in China for around 3700 years. It's found mostly in the Mashaan and Hubei Provences. There is much beautiful and valuable turquoise that comes from China and, as American mines play out and close, Chinese turquoise becomes more and more valuable.

+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
